BASIC TO OUT STANDING EDITING SKILL TRAINING: “BOOST YOUR SKILLS: FROM BASIC TO NEXT LEVEL DESIGN"

 

 

     Salatiga, April 18, 2026 – The English Education Department Student Association (SAEED) successfully held the 2026 Basic to Outstanding Editing Skill Training. With the theme “BOOST your skills: From Basic to Next Level Design,” the event took place at the Meeting Room of the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training (FTIK).

    The workshop aimed to guide students in creating aesthetic and attractive designs using Canva, covering basic layout, color theory, typography, and professional tips.

    The event was opened by Wildan and Denisa as the Masters of Ceremonies. It continued with welcoming speeches from the Chairperson of BOOST 2026, the President of the English Education Student Association, and the Head of the English Education Department.

    The training was led by an inspiring speaker, Isna Agustina Azizah, S.Pd. The participants were very enthusiastic, coming not only from FTIK but also from other faculties. During the workshop, participants learned the basics of graphic design, how to design with Canva, professional design workflows, and common mistakes to avoid.

    Besides the theory, there was a hands-on practice session where every participant received a Canva Premium account to support their work. As part of the evaluation, students were required to submit their final designs. The event concluded with the presentation of a certificate of appreciation to the speaker, formally handed over by the chairperson of the event.
