    Salatiga, May 17th, 2025 – The Student Association of the English Education Department (SAEED) held a Design Skill Workshop with the theme “Digital Illustration: From Sketch to Screen” in the meeting room of the Faculty of Education and Teacher Training building (FTIK)

    This workshop is a training to guide students in the process of creating digital illustrations using Canva, starting from basic sketches to the final process that is ready to be published.


        The event began with Widura as the Master of Ceremonies, followed by remarks from the chief of Design Skill Workshop 2025, the chief of the Student Association of the English Education Department 2025, and the head of the English Education Department.

        The training was led by the outstanding speaker, Amirudin Khorul Huda, S.Kom., M.Kom along with his four equally impressive assistants. This event was attended by students from the faculty of Teacher Training and education and delegates who are very enthusiastic. During the event, participants have the opportunity to learn about basic knowledge or materials first, such as the meaning of design, art and others, as well as tricks and tips for matching colors and designs that fit well.

    

    This workshop not only provides material about design skills but also direct practice and each participant was required to submit their work.

  Ramadhan Talks and Treats “Marriage Readiness: Tips for Ta'aruf ” On Tuesday, the 11 th of March, 2025, the Student Association of the English Education Department (SAEED) successfully organized the Ramadhan Talks and Treats event with the theme “ Marriage Readiness: Tips for Ta'aruf”. The event took place at Mosque at Campus 3 of UIN Salatiga and was attended by students from various study programs and invited delegates. Before the main event began, the organizing committee held a Qur'an recitation (khatam) as a form of spiritual reflection to welcome the holy month of Ramadhan. The formal event commenced at 4:00 PM, moderated by Fika Febriana. After the opening, the event continued with a recitation of the Holy Qur'an by Sekar Dwi Kumala, which added a solemn and spiritual atmosphere.
