Work Meeting

 

Salatiga, February 6^th 2025, Student Association of English Education Department (SAEED) held a Work Meeting and also a Handover of Position (SERTIJAB) with the theme "Empowering future educators through collaboration and innovation", which took place on the 3rd floor Auditorium, K.H Hasyim Asyari Building, campus 3 UIN Salatiga (Fakda).

Work Meeting and Handover of Position (SERTIJAB) is a meeting activity that includes the Rules of Procedure of the SAEED 2025 AD/ART, the handover of position from the chief of the Student Association of English Education Department 2024 to the chief of the Student Association of English Education Department 2025 and the presentation of the work program of SAEED 2025. A total of 30 Student Association of English Education Department 2025, Demisioner members, and also the Presidium participated in the Work Meeting activities.

The Work Meeting was opened by Hendri Kurniawan and Haffa Aina Retno Dyah Pitaloka as the masters and mistress ceremonies.  And the work meeting started at 07.52. Sinta Mutiara Sani as the chief of the Student Association of English Education Department 2025, expresses her deepest gratitude for the dedication, cooperation and enthusiasm that has been given in the efforts within this organization. She also hopes that in this period developments can continue to be achieved together, by supporting each other, innovating and contributing in various aspects. Apart from that, she also hoped that the spirit of togetherness can continue to be maintained so that common goals can be realized well.

Mr. Dr. Faizal Risdiyanto, S.S., M.Hum as representative of Mrs. RR. Dewi Wahyu Mustikasari, Ph.D as the head of the English Education Department, gave the second speech, expresses her gratitude for your courage in seizing the opportunity to join an organization. However, it is important to remember that we are students with a primary responsibility—academics. Therefore, she also hopes that we can balance both aspects: staying active in the organization while maintaining a good Grade Point Average (GPA).  Do not let organizational activities become an excuse to neglect our main duty as students. Remember that both academics and organizational involvement must go hand in hand. She said that if you can manage both well, you will not only excel academically but also gain valuable experience and skills that will be highly beneficial in the future.

As mentioned by Mrs. RR. Dewi Wahyu Mustikasari, Ph.D, Mr. Dr. Faizal Risdiyanto, S.S., M.Hum also added that when someone is chosen and entrusted to be part of an organization, they should have a strong commitment both to their organizational responsibilities and their academic performance. Therefore, students must not neglect their academics, including completing their coursework properly.

After that, the event continued with a meeting of the rules led by Muhammad Fatihurrizal as a presidium, then continued with the presentation of the work program from SAEED 2025. During the presentation of the work program, the demisioners also provided feedback and suggestions for the work program. After the presentation of the work program ended, the event continued with the AD/ART session which was again led by the presidium.

The last event was the handover of positions from the chief of the Student Association of English Education Department 2024 Rizka Arifatul Ulya to the chief of the Student Association of English Education Department 2025 Sinta Mutiara Sani.
