ENGLISH RAMADAN IN CAMPUS SAEED 2023

 



       Salatiga, April 7th, 2023, The Students Association of English Education Department (SAEED) held an English Ramadhan in Campus (ERIC) with the theme “Technology Enhanced Opportunities for the Alpha Generation to Worship Allah." which was held in Auditorium 3rd floor, Ahmad Dahlan building. This agenda was officially opened by Sheika Rahmatul Azzahra, as the chief of English Ramadhan in Campus (ERIC) 2023. 
           Presenting the speaker Mr. Miftachudin, M.A. (lecturer of educational technology and TESOL), he explained a material entitled "Transcending Pities With Technology" because the discussion is about technology, he also displays several videos in his ppt to describe the advancement of technology now. He mentioned that technology is the application of scientific knowledge for practical purposes, especially in industry machinery and equipment developed from the application of scientific knowledge the branch of knowledge dealing with engineering or applied sciences. Technology consists of tools and machines, as well as the science behind their invention. He also mentioned some of good movies for us to watch in which the movies had the theme of technology and also an understanding of technology. The film are: Alita, Ready Player One, Iron Man, Transformer, Robocop, Pacific Rim, Matrix, l Robot, and Three Idiots. 
        The event went smoothly and closed with a group photo, handing over certificates and parcels by the Chief of English Ramadhan in Campus (ERIC) to the speakers. After the completion of the event, we also held iftar together with the participants.

  Ramadhan Talks and Treats “Marriage Readiness: Tips for Ta'aruf ” On Tuesday, the 11 th of March, 2025, the Student Association of the English Education Department (SAEED) successfully organized the Ramadhan Talks and Treats event with the theme “ Marriage Readiness: Tips for Ta'aruf”. The event took place at Mosque at Campus 3 of UIN Salatiga and was attended by students from various study programs and invited delegates. Before the main event began, the organizing committee held a Qur'an recitation (khatam) as a form of spiritual reflection to welcome the holy month of Ramadhan. The formal event commenced at 4:00 PM, moderated by Fika Febriana.
