The Biggest Dream

Daegu, South Korea, that day has entered autumn. The trees began to turn yellow and fall. The weather, which was scorching hot at first, began to become warm. You can see the figure of a boy who is gardening, picking vegetables and cleaning the fields. Yes, there he is, Jeno. A child who is a vegetable farmer who comes home from school, he always helps his parents in the fields. He is a smart and studious child. He also has a hobby of singing and has a very expensive golden voice. He has aspirations as a famous singer, who is successful all over the world.

Jeno, who is currently still in junior high school, has always been the center of attention of his friends. Because he is a farmer's son, he always gets bullied from his friends.

“You farm boy. How could school here!”

Watch out, the farmer's child passes. Ha ha!”

Jeno walked down the corridor while enduring the ridicule from his friends. Trying to cover his ears without being seen, and holding back the tears that were about to drop. He was really frustrated and had wanted to disappear from the world. He did not tell this incident to his parents. He was afraid that if he told this incident,  his parents would be worried.

He kept walking, climbing the stairs until he reached the tallest building in his school. Crying loudly, took out everything that was on his mind.

The day was getting colder and the sun soon disappeared from the front. Still in the same place, looking at the entire city of Daegu which is starting to look beautiful with colorful lights decorating it. Suddenly, a girl approached. That girl had seen what happened to Jeno a long time ago.

“I have seen you here since you cried earlier”, said the girl.

“Who are you? What are you doing here?”, said Jeno.

“Jenny. My name is Jenny.”

It turned out that that girl also had the same story as Jeno. He told everything that happened to him when he first entered this school. Bullying. Yes, bullying. The story is almost similar to Jeno. Since then, they finally became friends. Jenny is Jeno's first friend. That's right, he's Jeno's first friend since he entered middle school. Even though Jeno is now in his third year of school.

Since Jenny, Jeno is now stronger and less afraid of bullying. Jeno is more focused on studying and achieving his dream of becoming a famous singer. Even his days at middle school were no longer gloomy for Jeno. Until finally he graduated from that high school. He graduated and was one of the students with the best grades. How proud Jeno's parents are. His determination to become a singer became even more intense. Until finally, he decided to move to Seoul, and attend a high school which is famous for the best graduates in singing, Seoul Performing Arts High School.

“Father, Mother, I want to move to Seoul and go to school to SOPA”, said Jeno.

Initially, his father and mother did not allow Jeno to move to Seoul. Because, they were afraid that they would be far away from Jeno, who was 15 at the time. However, they knew that their son really wanted to become a singer, and in the end they allowed Jeno to move to Seoul, and enter the Seoul Performing Arts High School. From there Jeno's abilities continued to be honed. His voice is getting much better than before.

One time, Jeno tried his luck following a Superstars K talent search audition that was broadcast on a private television station in Korea. Practice singing, dancing, and rap interlocking while waiting in line. Jeno looked at all the participants who were practicing. Seeing another participant who had a beautiful voice made him feel insecure. After hours of waiting, now is the time for Jeno to show his golden voice. Walking through the dark room to the judges with mixed feelings. Now he's actually in front of the judges, holding the mic, and ready to sing.

It seems that the judges really enjoy the sound and appearance of Jeno. Prok prok prok. There were applause from the judges. He was relieved that he had successfully completed his performance. However, there was something strange about the judges' assessment.

"Your voice is good, but you have to practice some more”, said one of the judges.

It turned out that the jury's decision was different from what Jeno expected. He failed the audition.

“Why? There is something wrong? Why didn't I escape?”, said Jeno to himself while wiping the tears that fell on his cheeks.

Sad, that's for sure. However, he will not give up and he will continue to practice singing again.

The weather in Seoul, which was warm, has now turned cold. Autumn was over, and turned into polar winter. Jeno walked on the snowy road to his school. When he arrived in front of the school gate, he was approached by a stranger. Wearing all black clothes.

Are you jeno?”, said the person.

Yes it's me. Who are you?”, said Jeno.

While taking out his business card, that person introduced himself.

“I'm Shi Hyuk, the director of Big Hit Entertainment Agency.

The day has turned into night. The sound of the night animals began to shout. Flakes of white snow also appear clearly down from the sky. Cold. Jeno looks very happy, with what happened this morning. He felt like this was like a dream to him. He took his handphone from his study table, and immediately contacted the agency that he was very interested in entering the agency. One year later, Jeno successfully completed his trainee period. He was chosen to debut as a soloist. His hard work and struggle to become a singer was not in vain. Day and night practice. There wasn't even sleep for him. And it has all paid off. Jeno's parents were very proud of him.

Immediately after the announcement of his debut, he prepared his first single. Starting from the concept photo, recording the song, filming the music video, and everything that is needed in the promotion of the single, it is being prepared. The day of his solo debut arrived. The music video was released, and he performed it on stage. The roar from the audience seats could be heard loudly. They really liked Jeno's golden voice.

He also proved to all his friends who had bullied him, hi, I am Jeno, who you guys used to bully. Are you satisfied with your actions first ?, said Jeno to himself. Disbelief arose in Jeno's friends. They did not expect that Jeno, who they used to bully, could become a famous singer.

Jeno has really gone through a tough time. He really thanks his parents. Not to forget, he also thanked Jenny, a middle school friend who had helped him from the bad thing he was going to do.
